Our Story

How it all started...

Flight Crew 4031 was born from a calling that God began placing on the heart of our founder, Jacob Marshall, years before the organization ever existed. As a pilot with a deep love for aviation and a growing call into ministry, Jacob began to see how the unique gift of flight could be used to serve people in extraordinary ways. What first appeared as scattered pieces of a larger puzzle gradually came together into a clear vision: to use aviation as a ministry that brings hope, compassion, and practical assistance to those in need.

Expanding the vision...

Driven by a desire to serve God's children, Jacob recognized two critical needs within the United States—rapid humanitarian relief and accessible non-emergency medical transportation. Countless individuals and families face barriers to receiving specialty healthcare simply because they cannot afford or access transportation, while communities affected by disasters often need essential supplies delivered quickly to difficult-to-reach locations. Flight Crew 4031 exists to help bridge those gaps.

Where we are ...

Established in early 2026 and headquartered in Danville, Virginia, Flight Crew 4031 is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to serving others through Christ-centered aviation ministry. Our mission is to bring hope in times of crisis by delivering food, clean water, blankets, hygiene kits, emergency supplies, and other critical resources while also providing free, non-emergency medical transportation for individuals who need access to specialized healthcare.

We believe every mission is an opportunity to demonstrate the love of Jesus in tangible ways. By partnering with local churches, nonprofits, volunteer pilots, and generous supporters, we seek to serve with excellence, compassion, and humility—reaching communities that might otherwise be overlooked and helping people overcome obstacles that stand between them and the care they need.

OUR STORY HAS JUST BEGUN

While Flight Crew 4031 has officially launched, our story is only just beginning. We trust that God will continue to open doors, provide opportunities, and use this ministry for His purposes. Every flight, every act of service, and every life touched is part of a much greater story—one that ultimately exists for God's glory alone.

As Isaiah 40:31 reminds us, “They shall mount up with wings like eagles.” It is our prayer that through every mission, people would not only receive help but also encounter the hope that is found in Christ.
